Work on Your Energy:

In January this year, we were recruiting for a particular open position and had just finished chatting with a very bubbly candidate that gave us very positive vibes and we were a still very high in the energy she left behind…… then the next candidate walked in, sat down, we introduced ourselves and dived right into the conversation.

…for some funny reason I realized that I was struggling to connect, I looked at my other panelists and they seem to be experiencing the same thing….. that interview lasted 10 minutes and when she left, we all sighed in unison, then someone asked…. “what just happened?”
It’s important to work on the energy you give off during an interview, and it takes a conscious effort to be able to do that so pay attention.
