Life after your 9 to 5 journey
Have you imagined what your life would look like after retirement?
Last week I engaged in a random/not planned but serious conversation with amazing humans on the 9 to 5 train.
It started off with the fear/concern of what life would be post retirement, and the possibility of being able to fund their current life styles.
I sensed the panic as we continued and also saw the possibilities of how they can conveniently plan from their current state.
How do you track your expenses?
Have you ever looked through your bank statement to see where your money is going?
What’s the ratio between your income/expenses and income/investments?
Career success is not just to arrive at the peak of your career with no plan for life after retirement. You can only say you had a successful career if you’ve successfully activated plans to live a good life at the end of your career.
The truth is, it’s never too late to start and you can start from where you are.
